obesity

Obesity is a disease which develops due to excessive adipose tissue accumulation in the body. Loose connective tissues build up to form obese, which actually leads to a number of disorders in our body parts.

In fact our organs fail to work properly and various diseases crop up due to this kind of malfunctioning. To be specific obesity does not depend upon the body weight of a human or animal. It depends upon the quantity of body fat present in a human or animal body.

There are basically two types of adipose tissue that exist in mammals:

  1. White Adipose Tissue
  2. Brown Adipose Tissue

Mainly, the function of adipose tissue is to store body energy for humans and animals. However excessive accumulation of adipose tissue leads to obesity in mammals. Adipose tissues also act as protective cushion for different organs.

Majority of adipose tissues are found just below our skin, though some of them are also found acting as protective shields around major organs. Adipose tissues are also the storage of nutrients. When our energy gets exhausted, the adipose tissues act as support, and generate energy by burning itself.

Due to excessive adipose tissue build up obesity is likely to form and it ultimately has adverse effects on the body. Obesity is the sole reason for major health disorders like heart attacks and diabetes.

Obesity generally occurs due to diets that include heavy amount of fatty products. It actually leads to inflammation of body parts which again takes a toll in animal health.
